From Beder’s Kitchen

From Beder’s Kitchen is a charity cookbook which aims to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, while cooking and enjoying delicious food together.

The book contains a collection of recipes and reflections from foodies around the world. Contributors included Gordon Ramsay, Yotam Ottolenghi, Atul Kochhar, Carla Henriques, Michael Zee, Romy Gill, Jack Blumenthal.

I thoroughly enjoyed capturing this unique project which highlights important issues and felt particularly relevant during a global pandemic. My creative role included not only working as photographer but also working closely with the food and prop stylist to tell stories through each image and reflect the diversity of the recipes. In addition I worked alongside the food stylist to pitch and implement the concept for the current front cover of the book.
